My basic assumptions

My assumptions

All my ideas are based on these fundamental assumptions.

1. Environment
I have this concept of environment. The environment consists of people and things that people use. The structure of the environment is a directed graph. The components of this graph are explained in the next two sections.

2. Objects
The environment consists of both living and non living things which I would collectively call Objects. These objects form the nodes of the Environment graph.

3. Relationships
The various Objects in the environment are dependent on each other. This forms a link between these objects.
I call these links as relationships. The Environment graph is directed because the relationship may not be mutually agreed upon by both the objects involved in the relationship.

I classify relationships into the following:

  • Formal (Legal)
    • Husband and Wife
    • Business Partners
    • Suppliers
    • Clients etc
    • Owner (in the case of non living objects)
    • Tenant (in case of borrowed or rented Objects)
  • Biological
    • Father
    • Mother
    • Son
    • Daughter
  • Informal
    • Friends and their friends
    • Owner (in the case of non living objects)
    • Tenant (in case of borrowed or rented Objects)

4. Changes in the Environment
Every object is interconnected in some way or another. So any change made by any object in turn starts affecting all the objects that are closely connected to the object that initiated the change. The area of effect depends on the magnitude of change.

So everything that we do affects our environment in some way.

5. Free Will
I believe in FREE WILL. This means every person is responsible his/her own actions. These actions made by the person translates into the changes in the environment.
All actions/changes however influenced by the environment around the person is still initiated by the person by his/her Free Will.

A part two of this post is on its way...

The purpose for this blog

This blog is regarding my ideologies.

Since I am not a follower any religion (technically by birth I am a Hindu :) ), I need a core set of values to adhere to in life.

In this blog I will document my core set of values.
I will update the blog with new things that I learn throughout my life.

The intention of this blog is objectively analyze my ideologies. Many of my ideas maybe in direct violation with the ideas of some religions. This does not mean that I disrespect that religion (or any religion for that matter)
